A secure underground car park equipped with Tesla and multi-brand charging stations.
As for your vehicles, not to worry! The Hôtel les Gentianettes has a private underground garage with 12 spaces equipped with 4 charging points for electric and hybrid vehicles, including 2 Charging Destinations compatible exclusively with Tesla vehicles. Book your underground parking space by selecting the options on our website when you make your reservation.
Like our village, the hotel has outdoor parking spaces (15 spaces), which are free of charge but cannot be booked, meaning that outdoor parking spaces are not guaranteed.
Only the parking spaces in the underground garage guarantee parking if they have been reserved.
Only the reservation of an underground parking space guarantees parking.
Motorbikes and bicycles can be parked the underground garage free of charge. There are power outlets for electric bikes in the underground garage.

In the hotel, take advantage of our ski room service to store your ski boots and to look after your equipment with our Ski Clinic Vola racing(?). Equipment rental is easy alongside our professional and qualified staff who can give you their best recommendations, adapted to your wants and needs. A playroom is also available for your children’s entertainment. Their happiness is our priority.
Portes du Soleil ski pass bookings: Hassle-free skiing
No need to queue, book your Portes du Soleil (3-day minimum) ski passes directly through us at our hotel reception desk. Whether you are here as a family or between rider friends, make your life easy and benefit from the same prices, without the hassle.
Les Gentianettes’ Private ski bus: be dropped off in front of the slopes
Book your free ski bus that will take you to and from the hotel and the slopes (leaves at 9.30am and returns at 4.30pm, no maximum capacity). The bus will drop you off opposite the Linga télécabine in Châtel, so you can head straight to the slopes. Take away that unwanted stress during your ski holidays, let us look after everything.

The 12 ski resorts in the area link together 650km of slopes and over 200 ski lifts for pure happiness! Skiers, the Portes du Soleil, which overlooks the Abondance Valley and Chatel, will bring you to discover and enjoy this incredible area: with cross-country skiing, biathlon, snow-shoeing and ski touring itineraries starting right outside the hotel.
If skiing isn’t what you are seeking, why not explore the extraordinary panoramic views over the Haute-Savoie and Suisse villages, head out for a long walk on snowshoes, or be pulled by sled dogs through the powder. Many ski lifts are accessible on foot and provide effortless access to altitude restaurants and great panoramas. Beginners and experts alike, try this out-of-the-ordinary experience: the ice circuit in Abondance, only 5km away from the hotel. A new concept which will make some of you incredibly happy during your holiday.
Since 2012 it’s been possible to try this sensational experience organised by the EXERPILOT driving school. These driving on ice courses are perfectly safe at the wheel of Porsche Cayman or an Alpine A11, but also at the wheel of your own car.

GR5 Trail & Hikes: Summer walks in Haute-Savoie
The famous GR5 hiking trail passes just in front of the hotel and crosses our village and its natural geopark.
Cross the Savoie Mont Blanc territory and admire its incredible landscapes on hikes or trails in the Portes du Soleil. The French-Swiss Portes du Soleil area is the perfect playground for all levels of trailers. Start off your trail running career safely and choose the route that is right for you: the blue circuit “Abondance par la plaine de Joux”, or the green circuit “boucle de la cascade sur Bayard”. There are many places to start from in la Chapelle d’Abondance, over 50 different tracks, representing 400km of trails with 7 variants to suit all levels. You can even head to the summits of Haute-Savoie on our ski lifts using the summer multipass, available for only 2€ a day…let’s go!
Mountain or electric biking: a different way to spend your time in the Portes du Soleil
You have the possibility to ride up and down dozens of specially designed trails on your mountain bike, electric bike or fat Ebike. The Portes du Soleil area has been constantly innovating over the years to develop mountain biking. Immerse yourself in magnificent summer landscapes: green plains, woodlands, and pine tree forests… spectacular views which surround bikers who want to experience an unforgettable summer holiday in Haute-Savoie.
